I had allergies. Or so I thought. I went to a dermatologist and an allergist. They both said … not allergic to anything. Yet, I was having an allergic reaction to something. I happened to discover that when I opened the windows in my house my allergies cleared up. Dang! I was allergic to my housI had been taught that you never jump to solutions without diagnosing the problem and then applying a sound corrective solution. I bought this test kit and it told me: mold and formaldehyde were high. I then bought some HVAC evaporator coil cleaner and sprayed the coils. This was one of the areas the test report said to check. No more allergies! Yup, all gone. Had I bought an air purifier or a more expensive whole house ventilator I may have solved the problem. Maybe not. I would have simply thrown money around without understanding the problem at all.

I really like how simple this test was to perform and how I was able to recover from my allergies. I would give this test kit 10 stars if I could.

Next? I am looking at adding a UV light to my HVAC system. I am also looking to use an activated charcoal filter so as to reduce VOCs. I now understand the problems in my house and with that information I can effect positive change.

Best $$ I have spent in awhile.

We did check our home and received a timely report.

I had some insulation mold issues in my house and this test picked right up on it. It showed the exact type of air issue I was having and helped identify where it was at.

Company was great to work with

I received this product lattter than I expected so I returned it un- opened. Im sure awaiting refund but have no way to reach company

Would recommend to others.

Great product !!!!

Very easy to use, results were prompt. Would use the product again if needed.

Great. A convenient and fairly affordable way to check your indoor air quality. The air collection process is easy and fool-proof. The report they give you is detailed, with readings for mold, allergens, and all sorts of chemicals, along with normal ranges you can compare your results to.

It gave me great piece of mind as I live in a 1920’s home.
The test results were emailed directly to me.

Highly recommend. Gives peace of mind knowing if you should pursue further testing and remediation.

They were professional, communicated well and on time. The reports are clear. Thankfully ours came out all normal, but really worth it.

The more you know, well the more you know. I had a similar experience as one of the other reviewers. I purchased several particle board cabinets for my garage and within weeks the smell permeated the house and made my whole family sick. I used Home Air Check kit to check our indoor air quality right after we removed the cabinets and several times since. Home Air Check provides excellent service overall, easy to understand report with great customer support if you have any questions and/or need advice. I would highly recommend this product.

Had concerns around air quality form old flooring outgassing, the test results confirmed my suspicion which means I can now rectify the situation with confidence that it’s worth doing.

Simple enough to do, results fast. A little tricky getting the red caps off the glass tubes

Simple instructions, easy setup, and pretty decent reporting for a home air test. Probably the best you can get. I would make sure to look at their sample report online though, so you are clear about what kind of results you will get. It’s not as detailed as a professional report, but it’s the best I found for an at-home kit.
